1% of the US population serves on active duty at any given time. Overall on 7% of the US population have ever worn this country's uniforms. The division between those that have served and those who reap the rewards of such service is growing wider. We must do more to create a caring and loving community and country for these warriors to return home to. This can only be done with the support of the 93%.

At last estimate approximately 22 veterans a day are committing suicide, or 8.030 veterans a year! And those statistics are only from 21 states reporting such data.

If these deaths were occurring on the battlefield Americans would be screaming for something to be done.  Well, these deaths are from the battlefield, a battlefield that many veterans never leave. It’s time for every American to sacrifice something for those who have sacrificed so much.
