I am not a vet or soldier. I am an Army brat and spouse of a soldier. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety/panic attacks, I have had seizures and strokes. I have tried to get a therapy dog or service dog in order to help me. I am a mother of 2 boys and my husband deploys every other year. I am on the verge of giving up in life. I was molested as a child, abused as a child, shot when I was 14 by a 12 gauged shot gun, and on my 21st birthday I was raped. Oh there is more but that is all I want to share for now. Anyways. I have called, e mailed, and wrote to other” non profit organizations” for a dog. They told me that since I am not a veteran I have to pay 3000 to 36000 dollars for a dog. Can you help me and give some info that can help. Or even a suggestion where I could go to get one. Please. Thank you for your time.

Hello, have you thought of transferring these skills to women with PTSD from domestic violence situations? I have a prescription for a service dog to assist me with my PTSD but don’t know where to have my new furry rescued friend trained. Please contact me. I’ve left several messages and emails to no avail. There’s a whole other population that wod appreciate your services in training. And of course appreciate your service to our country. Thank you! I look forward to hearing from you soon.
